English Translation:
Thank you, Shava, Thank you, Mwendamberi (Pioneers who stride ever forward), Kin of the Eland, magnificent creature unblemished by any flaw, Whose spiraled horns twist with the natural beauty of the valley, Never drooping to touch the dusty ground as they stride. Praise to the clan of Hwedza nestled among scenic hills, Masters of Chishawasha and the invigorating high breezes, Whose coats glisten like the crisp morning dew on golden grass, Whose rich milk nourishes generations in peace, Who despise household squabbling and govern with calm temperance. Praise to you, Museyamwa (The steadfast pillar upon whom all can lean), Beast with strong, noble shoulders, Who walks the plains with the serene poise of kings, Whose heritage and lineage endure unbroken across centuries, Who build welcoming, prosperous homesteads. Honored are the families of Marondera and Charter, Gratitude to the kin in Buhera, Thank you, mighty and graceful bull of the Eland!
