Muka mangwanani zuva risati rasimuka,

Wake in the early dawn before the sun climbs high,

Ruoko runoshanda harumborari nenzara.

The hand that works diligently never goes to bed hungry.

Ivhu redu rakapfuma kune uyo anoririma,

Our soil is generous to the one who tends it faithfully,

Dziya ranhasi ndiro dura rezviyo mangwana!

Today's honest sweat becomes tomorrow's overflowing granary!

Nungo dzinoparadza musha nekuunza urombo,

Laziness ruins the home and invites poverty inside,

Asi kushinga kunosimudza mhuri murukudzo.

Whereas perseverance lifts the family in dignity.

Shandisa chipo chako nemwoyo wose,

Use your talents and hands with all your heart,

Ugozokohwa michero inotapira yebasa rako!
