Ndima 1
Kukurigo! Jongwe rarira mudanga,
Cock-a-doodle-doo! The rooster crows proudly in the pen,
Husiku hwaenda, chiedza chavheneka.
The dark night has fled, and brilliant daylight shines bright.
Zuva dzvuku rabuda pamusoro pegomo,
The golden-red sun has crested the mountain peak,
Rinodzidzisa nyika kuti nguva yamuka.
Reminding the sleepy world that a new dawn has awakened.
Ndima 2
Dova riri pauswa sesirivha inopenya,
The morning dew on the emerald grass sparkles like silver,
Mhepo inofefetera inopa mweya mutsva.
A gentle, refreshing morning breeze brings renewed life.
Muka ugeze kumeso nemvura inotonhorera,
Arise, splash cool water on your face,
Pinduka ushinge, zuva ranhasi nderako!
Step forward with courage, for this bright day is yours!
